In the everyday linguistic usage of architects are often also different designations:

LP 1-3 are usually summarized under the term of the "draft" ( called "Entwurf" )

LP 5 the execution planning is often called "work planning" ( called "Werkplanung" )

LP 6-7 are often discussed under the term "advertisement assignment, account" ( called "Ausschreibung,Vergabe, Abrechnung" )

LP 8 "construction supervision" ( called "Bauleitung" )

Usually architect's offices take over all "work phases" 1-9 ( LP called "Leistungsphasen")

Individual architects / architects offices are specialized only on the "work phases" 1-4. Others concentrate the execution planning and realization of the building project, that are the "work phases" 5-9. These are very specialized architect's offices, whose advantage is in their high specialized authority. Unfortunately this specialization has also a disadvantage: because an implementing architect's office does not know the draft and its development as well, as the draft author. Since the draft author receives no more further fee, later co-operation between that is generally no longer smooth implementing architect and draft author. So it could be better,if there are complex building projects, to assign, only one architect / architect's office, who works on all performance phases in there own office. Thus solving all difficulties or problems on the way.
